John Sutton

John has been employed at the Trust since 2005 years having worked within local government for over 30 years, starting in Lancashire via Essex and North Somerset before finally deciding to settle down in Wiltshire. Taking early retirement from a senior management position he has a depth of experience in environmental and recycling matters.

He is presently responsible for encouraging residents to compost at home and this has proven to be a successful venture whereby annual surveys have shown a regular figure of 47% of homes within Wiltshire use a compost bin therefore reducing the amount of waste going to landfill sites.
