Emma Harrington

Emma Harrington, WWT

After graduating from The University of Sussex in 2007 with BSc Geography with Ecology, Emma worked for a brief period at Hills (the county’s recycling contractor) advising on recycling issues before joining the WWT’s Environmental Action Team as the Events Assistant, promoting energy efficiency, renewable energy and waste minimisation across Wiltshire.

After this 6 month contract, Emma took the post of Environmental Action Project Officer, and worked on the Salisbury Affordable Warmth project and two series of the Greener Living Road Show.

In April 2010, Emma joined the Adaptation team as the Senior Wiltshire Invasive Plants Project Officer and has recently accepted the position of Section Coordinator for the Mitigation team.
