Cycle the Sarsen Trail

The route is 15 miles long, running from the top of Redhorn Hill, along Salisbury Plain, down to Fargo and then to the finish point at Stonehenge. The car park is at Stonehenge and a bus service will then take you and your bike to the start point at Redhorn Hill. Numbers will be limited to 200. All cyclists who complete the course will receive a medal and free light refreshments at the finish.
Children under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult – the route crosses one main road.
Upon receipt of your registration form and entry fee you will be sent confirmation of your registration.
ON THE DAY - SUNDAY 2ND MAY 2010
Parking is at Stonehenge. Coaches will leave Stonehenge at 08.15 to take you and your bike to the check-in and start point at Redhorn Hill. If you would like to make your own transport arrangements for you and your bike after the event, you can utilize the car park at Redhorn Hill. Please ensure you have suitable clothing for the terrain and the weather, and carry spare water and food. It is strongly recommended that all participants wear a helmet.
Important Information
The start point & check-in is at Redhorn Hill. All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
It is highly recommended that all participants take a spare tube or puncture repair kit and pump.
After Casterley Camp you will be passing through the MoD Danger Area. Please keep to the route, remember the Country Code.
Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is only insured and responsible for registered participants.
Please be aware that if you are on the route after 11am you may meet runners and dogs who are also taking part in the Sarsen Trail. Please ride with caution.
