Warm Front is a government funded grant scheme:

Warm Front Grant
Help is available to those in receipt of certain benefits to provide loft and cavity wall insulation, heating system improvements, draught proofing and hot water tank insulation. In circumstances where the cost of works exceeds the Warm Front grant value a referral will be made to the Local Authority who will consider funding part if not all of the different.

Warm Front £300 rebate
The Warm Front team are offering a £300 rebate off the cost of installing a new central heating system for people aged 60 or over who own or privately rent their home and are not in receipt of a benefit which would qualify them for the Warm Front Grant. The £300 rebate can only be used by householders who either have no heating system or one which is inoperable.

Low Carbon Buildings Programme
The Department of Trade and Industry's (DTI) Low Carbon Buildings Programme provides partial grants a variety of renewable. The amount available depends on the technology being installed.

Schemes available throughout Wiltshire:

Insulation discount scheme - Cavity wall insulation
Specially discounted prices available to all residents for cavity wall insulation. Typical discount of up to £300-£350 for 3 bed semi-detached house. Payback for this can be just 2-3 years! Prices are subject to survey.

Insulation discount scheme - Loft insulation
Specially discounted prices available to all residents for loft insulation. Typical discount of up to £200-£300 for 3 bed semi-detached house. Payback for this can be just 2-3 years! Prices are subject to survey.

Priority scheme for thermal insulation
This scheme offers free cavity wall insulation and loft insulation to anyone who receives certain benefits.

Free Insulation for over 70's
Free cavity wall insulation and/or loft insulation is available to anyone aged 70 or over. The only condition is that to be eligible for free loft insulation you must currently have less than 4"-6".
