Wiltshire world changers

You don't have to be a superhero to change the world! Wiltshire World Changers brings together people and communities from across Wiltshire who are taking action to look after the environment, tackle climate change and protect wildlife. Whether you compost your kitchen waste, fit low-energy light bulbs, volunteer for a wildlife project, set up a car-club or help install solar panels on your village hall – you are a World Changer. As individuals we can all take action: together we can really make a difference.
Wiltshire World Changers is a network of community groups and individuals working for the environment that encourage and support each other to create a more sustainable Wiltshire, and, by adding a local voice to the wider campaign, help reduce our environmental impact.
The network aims to:
- Help find the technical information and expertise you need;
- Save time by putting you in touch with like-minded people who may already have done something similar to what you plan so may know the pitfalls as well as the positives;
- Help you pass on your expertise to others;
- Help source funding;
- Help in the creation of a group structure;
- Publicise your work through the web site, green map and regular updates to members;
- Advise and support through a central co-ordinator;
- Give opportunities to join in county wide campaigns;
- Celebrate the efforts of local people.
