On the day

We aim to make this wonderful event as easy for you as possible by providing a shuttle bus service that links the car parks at the main starting and finishing points. The main car park is located at Stonehenge, with limited parking at the Avebury starting point.

We encourage participants to park at Stonehenge and take the shuttle bus to Avebury as this helps reduce the impact of cars on the village of Avebury itself.  

Walkers

Please check-in under the name of the lead person registered on your form. After you have checked in you will board your timed coach.

Avebury Start - Check-in will be open from 07.00 – 10.00 The check-in point is at the Study Centre behind the Great Barn.

Redhorn Hill Start - Check-in will be open from 10.00 – 11.30

If you change your mind about your start point you will need to check-in at the late entries desk on the day.

Marathon and Half Marathon

Marathon - Check-in from 8.30am at the Avebury Social Centre opposite the church (Grid ref: SU100699) where you will be given a timing tag. After you have checked in you will board your timed coach. The run will start as soon as possible after 10.30am. Please note there will be no half-way clock check.

Half Marathon - Check-in from 10.00am at Charlton Clumps (Grid ref: SU097547) where you will be given a timing tag. After you have checked in you will board your timed coach. The run will start as soon as possible after 11.00am

Mountain Bike

Please check in under the name of the lead person registered on your form. After you have checked in you will board your timed coach. Parking is at Stonehenge. Coaches will leave Stonehenge at 08.15 to take you and your bike to the check-in and start point at Redhorn Hill.
