Rowena Quantrill

Rowena Quantrill has been a Trustee of the Wiltshire Wildlife Trust since November 2005 and before that was a member of the Sustainable Lifestyles Committee of the Trust.
She has also recently retired as a committee member of the Wiltshire Ornithological Society - having been deputy chair for a year and previously chair for three years. She is currently a member of the editorial board of Hobby, the annual bird report of the Society.
She moved to Bradford-on-Avon 14 years ago having previously spent many years overseas, mainly in developing countries, seeing conservation projects in these countries at first hand.
In Bradford-on-Avon she has been involved in the campaign which saw the town becoming the first Fairtrade town in Wiltshire and in 2006 helped set up the Bradford-on-Avon Climate Friendly Group under the Trust's Climate Friendly Communities scheme.
