Get Involved Events and Activities Sarsen Trail & Neolithic Marathon 2018 10K Neolithic Run 2018 PLEASE NOTE: ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED, HOWEVER, YOU CAN REGISTER ON THE DAY. Polish up your trainers and get set for our first ever 10K Neolithic Run 2018 - a multi-terrain, undulation cross-country course of moderate severity open to runners of all ages on 27th May 2018. The run starts and finishes at Old Carter Barracks; the start time of the event is 10.00am and check-in is from 08.00am-09.45am at Old Carter Barracks. This event is open to all ages but under 15's must be accompanied by an adult. We have unique access across Salisbury Plain for this event but due to military activity, unexploded ordnance and the presence of nesting curlews, we do not have the detailed route until the week before the event. The means the map is only available on the day of the event. To celebrate your achievements each participant will receive a medal and some light refreshments at the end of the run. Dogs are welcome on the Fun Run but must be on a lead at all times- for £5 you can enter your dog into the run and they will receive a rosette and some dog treats. Car Parking The car park is located at Old Carter Barracks. All vehicles are parked entirely at the owner's risk. If you are wishing to use the car parking facilities at Old Carter Barracks, please state how many vehicles (quantity) you are wishing to park there, at the bottom of the entry form. If you have not received your pack by 21st May please contact 01380 736069. No refunds to non-attendance. If you change address between registration and the 7th May, please let us know. On the day- Sunday 27th May Please bring your confirmation letter with you. You will be issues with your number and timing chip at the start check-in. Check-in is at Old Carter Barracks and is from 08.00 till 09.45am. How you are helping Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Entry fees cover the cost of running this event and raise m much-needed funds for our work recreating, restoring and reconnecting habitats and landscapes throughout Wiltshire and Swindon. All profits from this event go to our Environment and Sustainability Fund which provides third-party and match-funding contributions for Landfill Tax Credits and other grant funders. this means your support can unlock additional funding for the Trust's work.
