Meet the Experts: Nature’s Detectives

The Wiltshire County Recorders—the local legends of the biological world will be out in the field day and night over the course of the weekend, surveying as much of the reserve as possible.

But they won’t just be hidden away in the undergrowth! Our recorders will be showcasing what they are recording throughout the day. Stop by their stations to see insects up close and learn about hidden plant life.

Nature isn't just for looking at—it's for getting stuck into! We have a full schedule of engagement activities designed to get you involved in the action including mini-beast hunts, ID workshops and have a go at surveying and recording.

The Dragonfly Cafe will be open. Whether you’re after a barista-style coffee to kickstart your morning or a well-earned slice of cake and a cold drink in the afternoon, the cafe is the perfect place to keep you well fuelled.
