Reports to: Fundraising and Supporter Relations Manager
Contract: Variable Hours subject to availability and to meet the needs of the Trust
Hours: Flexible over Saturdays and Sundays
Based at: Lower Moor Nature Reserve and Langford Lakes Nature Reserve
The Discover Nature Ambassador will welcome and help visitors at the Lower Moor Nature Reserve and Langford Lakes Nature Reserve to enjoy their visit and grow support for the Trust. Everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the service and welcome provided. The Ambassador will actively promote ways to support WWT, including donations to appeals and taking action for nature in line with our strategic goals.
Although part of the Fundraising team, you will need to be happy working on your own on site and be highly self motivated. As a ‘people person’ you will have experience in face-to-face fundraising or the hospitality industry, but if you have right attitude and enjoy speaking to people about nature and conservation, we would still love to hear from you.
