Reporting to: Head of Business Development and Community Engagement

Salary: £24,765 pa

Based: A combination of Elm Tree Court, Devizes & remote working

Hours: Full Time - Fixed Term One Year Post (37.5 hours/week)

We are pleased to be advertising our new Project Officer post.  This role will lead on both the practical conservation and local community engagement with the Trust’s latest reserve; Bay Meadows in Marlborough.

If successful you will be the local face and driving force behind Bay Meadows.  You will have both practical conservation experience and a background in engaging local communities.  The post will be exciting and diverse; you may be tree planting with volunteers in the morning and then hosting a school visit in the afternoon.

This post offers the chance to really take ownership of a new nature reserve and work with volunteers and the community to develop the site to its full potential.  You will be laying the ground work for future years of habitat creation and helping the community of Marlborough to feel a sense of ownership of their local reserve.
