Venue Hire at Langford Lakes

Are you looking for something a bit different?

Nestled in the Wylye Valley between Salisbury and Warminster, Langford Lakes is an ideal place to host business meetings, run training courses and seminars or to bring friends and families together to celebrate that special occasion. We also host exhibitions in the centre for art groups.

Hire charges are below for facilities only. Please contact us to book and if you require catering, we will put you in touch with the cafe, managed by Ed Dibbles, to discuss arrangements and costing.

Costs

Room Hire: £170 half day (3.5hrs) ; £295 full day
Hire of laptop/projector: £25

Costs include tables, chairs, and room hire. We cannot provide table cloths or other decorations. Please note there may also be an exhibition taking place in the room, but events will take priority. 

Discounts available for partner organisations and other charities.

Accessibility

Suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Dogs are not allowed. 

On-site facilities: bird hides, visitor centre, toilets, car and coach parking, parking for disabled visitors, cycle racks.

Exhibitions

The Brockbank Centre is an amazing space for exhibitions; we have organisations regularly putting on wonderful art exhibitions and the space is available to book for this.

Exhibitions can run for up to a month, being open with the café opening days of Wednesday to Sunday, 10am-4pm in summer months, 10.30 – 3pm in winter months. The exhibitions need to be manned by the exhibition organisers as we do not have staff on site.

A one month exhibition costs £250 and we ask for 20% of any income from the sales and any suplimentary events. You can use our card machine to take payments or bring your own and provide a breakdown of sales after the event. 

Please note that the space may be used for other meetings or events during your exhibition. You will be notified of this as soon as possible. We cannot give exclusive use for exhibitions. You will need to complete a risk assessment and provide your own public liability insurance.

The Brockbank Exhibition Centre and Nature Gallery has been funded with the support of the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. Funding was provided to help Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and other Wiltshire groups and societies to put on exhibitions and events that attract more visitors to Langford Lakes Nature Reserve to learn both about wildlife at the site and a wide range of other environmental issues.
