If you have heard about the benefits of Mindfulness and want to find out more, this introductory session offers you the opportunity to experience first-hand mindfulness meditation practice. 

You will be introduced to some simple practical methods that you can take away and begin to practice in your everyday life. We will also share some of the scientific research that underpins the mindfulness practice and through some practical exercises encourage you to explore the natural tendencies of your mind. 


Mindfulness is effective for those looking for ways to learn how to reduce and manage their symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression as well as exploring how the practice can develop personal resilience and bring many other benefits to both your physical and psychological health and well-being. 

 

The session will take place at Coombe Bissett and Homington Village Hall with opportunities to practice some techniques at the nearby Coombe Bissett Down nature reserve.
