Set adrift in the South Atlantic, this British Overseas Territory came to everyone’s attention when Argentina invaded in 1982.  However, what is less well known is how fabulous this archipelago is for wildlife. There are Sea-lions and Elephant Seals on the beaches, huge numbers of 4 species of penguins breed and the majority of the World’s Black-browed Albatrosses nest here. Come and hear renowned wildlife photographer and writer, Mike Read, describe the wonders of these remote islands.
