Volunteers make up a huge part in supporting the Trust's structure and activities. The Trust recognises that volunteer participation is essential in order for its activities to be community-led and this is central and integral to its success and well-being. Consequently, staff member-volunteer relationships are of crucial importance and must be understood and fostered by all staff. A large part of a member of staff's work is directed towards supporting, fostering and optimising the voluntary contribution to the Trust's work.
All our staff are encouraged to take part in voluntary work for the Trust or other organisations outside office hours.
