We value, appreciate and wisely use every hour volunteered. Volunteer Training We believe that we need to equip our volunteers with the training, skills, accreditation and qualifications to enable them to reach their potential. To help us achieve this we are an accredited centre for AQA (Assessment and Qualifications Alliance). Training Courses For volunteers who have volunteered with us for a minimum of six months and wish to acquire technical qualifications, we offer from time-to-time the following specialist courses: Brush cutting training Chainsaw training Remote first aid Internal courses and briefings offered by the Trust include: Safeguarding Volunteer leadership (required for all new volunteer leaders) Basic first aid Health & Safety (briefing before all conservation activities) Membership awareness You can view our current volunteering opportunities here.
