We have an exciting opportunity for a Support Officer to join the Building Bridges Team at Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. This role is fully funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund as part of the Building Better Opportunities programme and will be solely employed on the programme delivery. The Building Bridges Project supports those furthest from the labour market in accessing the skills, education and/or experience they need to achieve and sustain ongoing employment. Our target group is those who are unemployed or economically inactive and facing multiple, complex challenges and barriers.

As the Project Support Officer you will be responsible for delivering a programme of maintenance, conservation and other nature-based wellbeing activities for participants and ensure this is integrated into the Trust work programme. This is a role where you will have the chance to genuinely help people and enable them to make a change to their environment gaining support and experience for future work and volunteering opportunities.

The candidate will be working for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust as part of the Building Bridges programme and this role is jointly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and the European Social Fund.

Building Bridges is a partnership of organisations, led by Community First, that has come together to deliver the Building Better Opportunities Programme across Swindon and Wiltshire.  

The project has received up to £8.4M of funding from the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. The Department for Work and Pensions is the Managing Authority for the England European Social Fund programme.
