Reporting to: Head of Business Development and Community Engagement
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 pa depending on qualification & experience
Based: A combination of Elm Tree Court, Devizes & remote working
Hours: Permanent / Full time (37.5 hours/week)

We are pleased to be advertising for the role of Carbon Reduction Champion at Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. This exciting role will support the work of Wiltshire Wildlife Trust (WWT) and our partner community energy enterprise Wiltshire Wildlife Community Energy (WWCE) in responding to the inextricably linked climate and ecological crises.


You will lead on the Trust’s Carbon Reduction Strategy, exploring carbon sequestration opportunities as part of our nature-based solutions and leading on projects that deliver benefits for wildlife and climate; working with individuals, communities and organisations to support their carbon reduction strategies and generate their own energy from local, low carbon, community-owned generation.


This post offers significant scope to develop the response of WWT and WWCE to one of the crucial issues of our time and seek ways to reduce and avoid emissions, sequester carbon and build a community of concerned individuals, groups and organisations.
