Starting Saturday 14th August, 2021

Meet 2nd Saturday of the month. 11am – 3pm.

Tasks will involve general park maintenance and habitat management which is likely to include tree planting and aftercare, path and site maintenance, scrub clearance, and survey and monitoring.

No previous qualifications required, all volunteers are welcome regardless of experience.

All tools and PPE provided. Bring a packed lunch and refreshments as required, especially water in summer. Sturdy walking boots, work boots or wellingtons.

Location: Car Park, Saunders Avenue, Bishopsdown, Salisbury, SP1 3GB.

Castle Hill Country Park is leased to The Land Trust by Laverstock and Ford Parish Council. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Wild Landscapes project is one of the site managing partners, responsible for community engagement and biodiversity monitoring. Further details about the site can be found here.

All participants must have registered as volunteers with the Trust and must be over 18.
