Join one of the most dynamic wildlife education teams in the country. Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is rapidly growing an excellent reputation for its work with children and young people across a broad spectrum of programmes and activities.

This post is advertised as Maternity Cover initially (until 30th April 2019) but with the possibility to extend dependent on future funding and commercial income.

This role will be based with our Education and Wellbeing Team which runs traditional school workshops, but also delivers forest school and trains forest school leaders, undertakes one to one work and small group work with a range of hard to engage pupils and supports wider programmes such as the Trees for Schools programme.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who greatly care about both young people and the environment. You will have excellent communication skills, lots of imagination and a willingness to try out and develop new ideas and programmes. You will also have a good level of experience both in forest school delivery and either formal or informal education. You will have the confidence to lead groups or undertake one to one work out on our reserves or in schools. To achieve this you will also have the support of the Head of Business Development and Community Engagement and the rest of the education team.

This is a permanent part-time post with some occasional evening or weekend work required.
