Activities for Schools and Groups/Connecting Children to Nature

Did you know that Wiltshire Wildlife Trust deliver education activities to schools, pre-schools, Brownie and Cub groups in Wiltshire and Swindon?

We are passionate about getting children outdoors, exploring and learning about wild places. Our experienced education officers deliver a wide range of practical workshops all year round, for all ages and abilities.

Whether it’s cooking over a campfire in your school grounds, making recycled paper in the classroom or pond dipping at one of our nature reserves, we have something to offer everyone.

We can provide exciting activities for your school or group covering a range of environmental topics. Our interactive assemblies are a great way to get the whole school thinking about how to live more sustainably. We can deliver a Forest School programme in your school grounds or on one of our reserves. Bring your curriculum to life with a visit to one of our flagship nature reserves - Langford Lakes or Lower Moor.

We also offer school and community grounds development and LINE (Learning in the Natural Environment) training days for staff.

Download our Activities Brochure to find out more about what we can offer your school or group and follow Wiltshire Wildlife Trust’s blog to discover what we’ve been up to recently.
