We are delighted to invite you to a fascinating evening with ecologist Keith Cohen, focusing on the rare and elusive Bechstein’s bat.

Keith has been a vital partner in our conservation efforts since 2015. While he is a renowned expert on bats, his expertise and passion also span the worlds of fungi, birds, and vascular plants particularly sedges. This talk will offer a deep dive into the surveys conducted throughout 2025 at Green Lane and Biss Wood, while also providing historical context dating back to the early 2000s when these special bats were first discovered in our area.
