Living Churchyards

Churchyards and burial grounds are often one of the most valuable areas for wildlife within a community, having been untouched by agriculture or development. They are also areas of deep significance to many people, so any change of management needs to be handled sensitively. 

Before making any changes, please consult in the first instance, the Priest, Parochial Church Council (PCC), Parish Council and/or the Diocese for your area.
