The task will involve nature reserve management and initially forms part of the Action for Insects project to enhance and create special habitats for invertebrates. 

There will be the chance to take part in surveys and monitoring.

The aim is to create an exemplar site for invertebrates and therefore all biodiversity will benefit. There may be coppicing, pollarding, meadow management, habitat creation, surveying of insects and wild plants.

Meet at Sandpool nature reserve (part of Lower Moor Farm nature reserve complex). There is a car park at main entrance and another for work parties to be opened by task leader. There is also a café with toilets.

Each session will be from 10am til 3pm.

No experience or qualifications required, all are welcome. 

We will provide all tools and health and safety gear, but please bring your own lunch and wear practical clothing.
