Robin Rogers
Vice Chairman

Robin joined the Conservation Policy Committee in 2014 and  became a Trustee in 2015. He subsequently became a member of  the Finance Committee and tries to assist the Council to follow and advise on financial performance and plans.

He was an enthusiastic conservationist from an early age, both with the British Trust for Conservation Volunteers and during a university degree in Land Economy. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant and then spent  the rest of a career in executive search in the UK, Europe, Australia and Asia. Most recently this was finding professionals to support the new impetus for improving sustainable yields and traceable product in Africa.

He was for twenty years a neighbour to the Trust’s reserves at Clattinger and Lower Moor, with an improving flower meadow on his own land. Witnessing the Trust’s careful nurturing of the glorious 300 acre asset which was assembled over a number of years built a respect for the work of the Trust and led to his interest in supporting the work in whatever way possible.
