Ham Hill is a tiny area of steeply sloping chalk downland, strewn with wildflowers and offering great views.

We bought this small section of dismantled railway in Marlborough from British Rail in 1988 for £1. It has a variety of common plants and birds such as whitethroat and garden warbler.

Located on the flood plain of the River Kennet.

This stunning wildflower meadow is a stronghold of the snakeshead fritillary.
