This role will provide key administrative support to the Volunteer Coordinator in the processing of volunteer application forms to ensure accurate data is recorded for Health and Safety purposes. Due to the nature of the data being processed you will also have an understanding of GDPR.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in the design and creation of our new volunteer database and management system.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following tasks form part of the day to day duties:

  • Input volunteer data collected from the website/application forms
  • Update data with changes in details and cleanse where necessary
  • Input volunteer training records into the database and obtain training certificates
  • Log future training requirements
  • Communicate with potential applicants via email outlook

Other duties include:

  • Review website content and provide information to update this
  • Social media involvement with our in house Communications Team
  • Help to design and build CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. Implementation of this is expected to be June/July 2021

You will work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator but also have contact with the Reserves Team and gain an understanding of all departments across the Trust.
