Wildlife Watch groups give children aged 5 -13 the opportunity to discover local wildlife.  We provide practical activities like bat walks, pond dipping, creating homes for wildlife and campaigning to protect our environment.  Children have lots of fun being nature detectives and making new friends whilst making a real difference to wildlife in Wiltshire.

We currently have four Wildlife Watch groups who are run by volunteers who organise and plan the meetings.  A small charge is made for activities and Watch members receive a discount.  Activities are promoted on our website and through our monthly enews.  Booking is usually required as we are often oversubscribed.

All our Wildlife Watch groups are supported by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.  The groups operate within a monitored framework of child welfare and safety and all leaders undergo a thorough recruitment process to check their suitability to work with young people.  Groups meetings are usually held once a month for a couple of hours during weekends or evenings.  Group sizes and age ranges vary between groups.
