We are looking for a Delivery Manager to work as part of a team who will be bringing public and private finance together to deliver nature recovery projects in the Bristol Avon Catchment. As Delivery Manager you will work outdoors leading a team of Wessex Water’s Kickstart staff and supervise contractors and volunteers to carry out practical land management tasks such as tree planting and pond creation.

During your daily work you will be responsible for managing health and safety and organising the practical tasks, including tools, materials and equipment. You will need to be passionate about using your practical skills to create and improve wildlife habitats, be a clear and effective communicator and enjoy problem solving, adapting quickly to bad weather or other site constraints.

Funded through the Green Recovery Challenge Fund, the Bristol Avon Catchment Market is a partnership between Avon Wildlife Trust, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Wessex Water EnTrade to kickstart a Market for nature-based solutions. We are recruiting two teams to work with landowners in West Wiltshire and North Somerset. Secondments may be considered as these are initially fixed term appointments that may be extended subject to funding.

The Wildlife Trusts value diversity. We are committed to creating a movement that recognises and truly values individual differences and identities. We actively encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and cultures.

Closing date: 11:59pm, Sunday 7th November 2021.

Interview dates tbc.
